How To Love Again After You've Been Hurt
Think of heartbreaks to be part of your past. Your next mate will not be the person that you have once been in a relationship with.
Trust in God. Believe in God. Pray to God for clarity and ask for guidance on better plans for you. Pray that your plans do not get in the way of his plans for you. Plans that don’t involve tears and heartaches. We have to learn how to let go of what we can’t change, or stop trying to change ourselves without the power of God working in our lives.
Understand the lessons you learned. The truth is that there are times when you will have to learn how to get back up again. In order for you to open up in being able to love again, you have to look at the lessons from what you have learned previously from your past heartbreak has taught you about yourself.
I want you to understand that closing your heart off about not loving again is not going to make you any happier in life. It’s quite normal–its ok put your walls up, but don't close your heart off completely to everyone you meet. Don't dive into something quickly because the grass is not always greener on the other side.
Be honest with yourself. Be honest with yourself about what you did wrong, don't blame the other person. Focus on you on how to make things better this time around. It might you or them that has caused the break up but don't keep tabs about the person. Think about all the things that you could of done better. Ask God for deliverance to breakaway from your own fears and insecurities to learn how to love again.
